Our 39,800 employees are pioneers in mobility who help to keep the world moving. **What do you contribute?** Your path will lead you to our European Train Control System (ETCS) Wayside Engineering Team, which supports our international customers in modernizing their track components by introducing ETCS system components. + In your new role, you will be involved in the technical project management for ETCS trackside equipment in one of our international projects following a detailed induction. + You will analyze the project-specific requirements in coordination and check them for technical feasibility. + You will prepare initial technical planning documents for ETCS trackside equipment, including configuration of balises, lineside electronic units and radio block centers. + You are in contact with interfaces to other subsystems and engineering tools to ensure smooth project implementation. + In close cooperation with our Engineering Center abroad, you will support the creation of the software for the ETCS track system. + Last but not least, you will enrich our team with your innovative ideas for the further development and optimization of our products, components, implementation processes and software tools for the ETCS system. **What do you bring along?** + The basis for your success is a university degree in an engineering discipline, ideally with a focus on transportation or rail automation. + You will have practical experience in the field of railroad safety technology. + Ideally, you already have specialist knowledge of transportation or rail automation or standards or engineering processes. + You are also characterized by a good technical understanding and systematic thinking. + As you will be working on international projects, you will have a very good command of English and ideally German. + You will also be willing to travel occasionally at home and abroad (approx. 20%). **What do we offer you?** Mobile working /Remote working With us, you will have the opportunity to work hybrid.
