The St. Louis Cardinals are seeking candidates for their Junior Dugout Attendant position. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish. This is a seasonal\/part time attendant position that will be primarily responsible for watching children in a specified, private area at Busch Stadium during home games and other events as needed. This is a day-of game position in the Junior Dugout, and attendants must be available to work a flexible schedule that may include, but is not limited to, weekday evenings\/nights, weekends and holidays according to the March-October baseball season. Job Duties:\n\nCare for a specified group of children ranging in age from infants to preteens in a private area at Busch Stadium, and interact with parents\/guests to understand and accommodate their and the children's needs \nEnsure a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for the children by feeding them Cardinals and\/or parent-provided meals or snacks as needed, diapering babies, straightening toys and room supplies, and light cleaning \nCollaborate with Cardinals staff in the development and execution of education-themed activities and games \n\n

Education and Experience Required:\n\n2+ years of experience with childcare\nExperience creating child-oriented activities for a range of ages \nAbility to care for children of all ages and backgrounds\nCertified in infant, child and adult CPR, or willing to become certified\nOutgoing and able to work well with others\nHighschool Diploma\n\n

Education and Experience Preferred:\n\nSome college education preferred; degree not necessary\nProfessional experience in education, nursing, daycare, and\/or childcare preferred\nBilingual in Spanish & English with the ability to communicate and translate clearly and concisely with children and adults in both languages\n
