Position Overview: As a Junior Electrical Engineer you will service as an engineering consultant and technical expert on mission-critical infrastructure, systems, and equipment. You will apply professional knowledge of scientific and engineering concepts, principals, phenomena and relationships to: assess specific requirements, delineate appropriately engineered designs, and develop preliminary and final design plans, engineering specifications, cost estimates and procurement packages in support of the operation, preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical. electrical, plumbing, utility and mission critical systems and equipment. You'll specify functional requirements, designs and tests components, analyze designs, and integrate components and evaluate overall design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety. In addition, you will design, analyze, configure, test and troubleshoot systems, as well as providing project engineering/program management support, development and evaluation support and/or engineering/life cycle support of a complex nature in a narrow area of specification. Further, you will conduct surveys and investigations at project sites to secure necessary data prior to initiating design work. Education/Certifications: + Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent) with 0 - 2 years of experience. Some experience or related internships preferred. Skills/Qualifications: + Proficiency of business tools i.e.: Database applications, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. + Visio, CAD, BIM, Energy Management and Modeling. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and multiple priorities. + Expert in MS Office and graphics/publishing software. + Exhibit creativity, motivation, persistence and versatility. + Excellent verbal and written skills. + Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style. + A demonstrated commitment to high professional standards. Other Employment Statements: + Applicants for employment must be U.S. Citizens and must be able to obtain and maintain up to a Top Secret clearance due to our customer requirements and the nature of the work that we do. + Applicants must be able to work a full day on a project site, combined sitting, standing, walking, and in front of the monitor.
