CACI is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support our customer at NSWC Crane.
What You’ll Get to Do:
You be responsible for the technical rigor, and support the Program Manager and Chief Engineer on the organization, direction and coordination planning and execution of all activities associated with assigned delivery order projects.You will demonstrate competent writing and oral communication skillsYou will also ensure quality products and services are delivered to the customer.Define electrical system implementation approach and operational concepts. Develop models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development. You will also provide technical inputs related to the implementation of system architecture by other staff.Works with CACI Program Manager, Chief Engineer, and DoD customers to capture design requirements and develop products for testing and evaluation.Supports electrical system analyses at all levels for total system product integration to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.Attend project meetings as assigned.Project coordination and Document Control, to include responsibility for generation and review of technical documentation.Working with the Program Manager, Chief Engineer and financial and procurement team, perform market research analysis of electrical materials and resources, develop and revise rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates, and provide current and historical data for the acquisition of goods and services. Supporting the Program Manager and Chief Engineer, identify project requirements including justification write-ups, sole-source recommendations and technical evaluations.Closely monitor project team, performance, to include vendors, to ensure technical rigor and that materials and parts will be delivered on time and that the end product will meet customer needs.You’ll Bring These Qualifications
US Citizenship is required to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline 0-3 years of relevant experienceAbility to support management of project schedules and project integrations within site processes.Experience working with software languages, including C/C++, Python and Linux.Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work and communicate at multiple levels from senior leadership to installation teams.Experience with project initiation and tailoring, as well as industry accepted technical rigor practices, to include System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) processes and practices.Experience with tracking project deliverables, milestones, and schedules for systems or software delivery programs.Experience with requirements generation, traceability, review and tracking.Experience with program management, Readiness reviews, and Governance boards.Experience with conducting technical exchange meetings.Experience with working in team environments.Demonstrated experience with requirements tracking. Demonstrated experience creating, drafting, and reviewing program documentation.Excellent technical writing and data presentation skills.Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
An active DoD Secret clearance.Experience working in DoD community.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
