An opportunity for a Junior Electrical Engineer to contribute to dynamic projects within the heavy industrial sector. The role involves electrical and automation design, project engineering, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:Design and develop electrical and automation systems in line with project requirements.
Conduct electrical equipment selection and sizing for MV, LV, and DC applications.
Develop and align automation functional descriptions with client FDS specifications.
Scope and list I/O requirements, work with Profibus/Profinet systems, and ensure seamless interfacing with DCS infrastructure.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications.
Collaborate with mechanical, process, structural, and civil engineering teams.
Utilize CAD software for electrical design and documentation.
Manage project timelines, ensuring deliverables are met within specified deadlines.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
Requirements:Education: BTech or BEng in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in electrical and automation design and project engineering.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, automation, and control logic.
Software Proficiency: MS Office Suite, CAD drafting, and MS Projects.
Certifications: Eligible for or registered as a Professional Technologist or Engineer (PrTech/Eng) with ECSA or an international equivalent.
Skills:
Strong technical writing and documentation abilities.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
