Requirements:
National Diploma – Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics. Two years’ experience in the field of Controls, PLC and instrumentation. Able to read and interpret piping and instrument diagrams (PID). PLC programming and digital control systems experience. HVAC and building managements systems experience. Valid Code 08 driver’s license. Knowledge of electrical control circuits and maintenance management systems. Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Program, repair and calibrate all process instrumentation and controls. Commissioning of controls, instrumentation and building management systems. Attend to callouts and breakdowns. Fault finding on sensors, controls and HVAC equipment. Develop and complete tasks in accordance with the company’s SHEQ and ISO system. Provide feedback and updates to clients. Document and report all visits to customer sites as per work performed. Work efficiently and accurately in line with customer expectations. Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time, this within area of technical competence.
