The Tactical Strike Portfolio – ASDS has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Financial Analyst role supporting a diverse $500M portfolio. This successful candidate will have the opportunity to join and lead the day to day execution of a portfolio of programs under the TS umbrella. 

This role requires partnering with program and functional management to meet all financial plan commitments.  The successful candidate will be a strategic business partner, requiring clear communication, cross-functional relationships, and collaboration with the various execution teams, as well as forming partnerships with their external customer.  The selected individual will be responsible for supporting all aspects of financial control, including review of financial forecasts, risks & opportunities, manpower reporting, development of the annual operating plan and long range plan, earned value reporting, EACs, funding analysis, proposals/ECP’s, negotiations and gate support.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related fieldExperience like supporting cost and schedule analysisExperience like supporting the monthly forecast / close processExperience like supporting development of quarterly Estimates at CompleteU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinkingSupport the establishment and maintenance of the overall baseline that is compliant with the program instruction, internal EVM policy 10255, and DFARS requirements where necessaryPrepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as requiredPrepare manpower reports to support Command and Control staffing demand reviews including working with cross function leads to identify gaps and plans to closureSupport proposal development and program start up activitiesSupport the development of the long range and annual operating plansUnderstanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).Experience in DoD or AerospaceExperience on high visibility projects and programsExperience with external EVMS reporting and deadlinesFamiliarity with RMD business systems, including SAP, BW, RPlan, PMX, EDIT+ or similar systems

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
