Job Description
This position is in the Securities Administration Services (SAS) group. You will be responsible for processing the most complex transactions or reconcilements related to loan or security payments. This role involves providing remittance and correction information to servicers, monitoring and analyzing pooled loans for non-compliance, and communicating information to investors. You will evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with stated agreements, participate in system enhancements by attending user groups and testing, and communicate processing exceptions relevant to similar series across individual portfolios. Additionally, you will maintain a working knowledge of your area of expertise, including Collateral, Securities, Default, or Trust Administration. You may also train junior staff and review their processing and reconciliations, as well as propose and implement automated solutions on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
+ Process complex transactions or reconcilements related to loan or security payments.
+ Provide remittance and correction information to servicers.
+ Monitor and analyze pooled loans for non-compliance.
+ Communicate relevant information to investors.
+ Evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with agreements.
+ Participate in system enhancements by attending user groups and testing.
+ Communicate processing exceptions relevant to similar series across individual portfolios.
+ Maintain a working knowledge of Collateral, Securities, Default, or Trust Administration.
+ Train junior staff and review their processing and reconciliations.

Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Formulas, Pivot Tables, V Look Up, and more).
+ Strong analytical skills.
+ Experience in business analysis, finance, and data management.
+ Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business or related field.
+ At least 1 year of experience in Financial Services (including internship experience).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with accounting and data entry.
+ Ability to research and interpret controlling legal documents.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Team-oriented mindset.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Work Environment
The work environment is extremely team-oriented and deadline-driven, requiring analyses to be completed at specific times during the month, which may require overtime. The role offers a hybrid flexible schedule with some training on-site and large team meetings monthly on-site. Remote work is available unless a large conference or team meeting is scheduled in Columbia, MD. The environment is task-based, fostering collaboration and growth opportunities within the organization.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00
