Junior Financial Analyst
Job Title: Securities Analyst II Job Description This position is responsible for processing the most complex transactions or reconcilements relating to loan or security payments. The role includes providing remittance and correction information to servicers, monitoring and analyzing pooled loans to determine non-compliance, and communicating information to investors. You will evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with stated agreements, participate in system enhancements, and communicate processing exceptions. Incumbents must maintain expertise in Collateral, Securities, Default, or Trust Administration. You may also train junior staff and propose automated solutions. Responsibilities + Provide remittance and correction information to servicers. + Monitor and analyze pooled loans to determine non-compliance. + Communicate non-compliance information to investors. + Evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with agreements. + Participate in system enhancements by attending user groups and testing. + Communicate processing exceptions relevant to similar series across individual portfolios. + Maintain expertise in Collateral, Securities, Default, or Trust Administration. + Train junior staff and review their processing and reconciliations. + Propose recommendations and implement automated solutions. Essential Skills + Experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP. + Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business, or a related field. + 1+ years of experience in Financial Services (including internship experience). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong business analysis skills. + Proficiency in data analysis and finance. + Ability to interpret controlling legal documents as issues arise with collateral or bond payments. Work Environment The work environment is team-oriented and task-based. You will be working with Collateral, Securities, Default, and Trust Administration. The role involves a hybrid flexible schedule with some training on-site and large team meetings held monthly on-site. The position may require overtime as analyses must be completed by certain deadlines during the month. The role offers growth opportunities within the organization and remote flexibility, except for large conferences or team meetings. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
