Job Summary

As a Junior Floor Technician with City Wide Facility Solutions, you'll contribute to our client's clean, safe, and welcoming environments. Working closely with a dedicated team, you'll assist in maintaining high standards of floor care and facility upkeep. This hands-on role provides opportunities for growth within the Operations and Facilities Maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing as directed. Clean windows are part of floor care responsibilities. Identify floor types and apply appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Assist in setting up and breaking down floor care equipment (e.g., buffers, burnishers, scrubbers). Adhere to company and OSHA safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Support senior floor technicians with additional cleaning and maintenance tasks. Monitor and report minor equipment issues or necessary repairs. Pick up and drop off equipment, supplies, and chemicals as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring proper storage of tools and materials.
