Summary: We are seeking a skilled Junior Grants Administrator with a broad, national level understanding of the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) Health Center Program. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with health center programs, combined with expertise in program evaluation and management. This position will be responsible for managing and administering grants, ensuring compliance, and supporting the evaluation and strategic oversight of health center projects funded through BPHC initiatives. The Junior Grants Administrator will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and health center organizations to ensure that programs are effectively managed, meet required outcomes, and comply with federal and organizational regulations. This is a hybrid position. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Grant Administration & Compliance: Administer and manage the lifecycle of grants, from application through award, monitoring, reporting, and closeout. Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies. Track and monitor grant expenditures to ensure funds are used appropriately and within budget constraints. Prepare and submit required federal and internal reports, ensuring timely and accurate data submission. Provide technical assistance and support to grant recipients regarding compliance, reporting, and financial management. Program Evaluation & Performance Monitoring: Support the evaluation of BPHC Health Center Program-funded projects by coordinating data collection and analysis efforts. Collaborate with program managers to assess the performance of health center programs, ensuring they meet required health outcomes and comply with BPHC guidelines. Develop evaluation tools and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of health center programs. Assist in the development of reports and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting program successes, challenges, and areas for improvement. Grant Reporting & Documentation: Lead the preparation and submission of progress and final reports to funding agencies, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with grant objectives. Maintain up-to-date documentation and records for all grant-related activities, ensuring they are easily accessible for audits or reviews. Track performance indicators, milestones, and timelines for each health center program and assist in communicating outcomes to key stakeholders. Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between grantees, government agencies, and internal teams, fostering strong relationships and clear communication. Facilitate meetings and provide training or guidance to health center staff on grant compliance, reporting requirements, and performance expectations. Collaborate with program managers and external partners to identify programmatic needs, resolve issues, and ensure the success of funded health center initiatives. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: In-depth understanding of program evaluation and performance monitoring, particularly in the context of federal health center programs. Knowledge of federal grant regulations, policies, and compliance requirements, especially those related to BPHC-funded programs. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data and generate actionable insights for program improvement. Proficiency in project management, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage documentation and reporting requirements efficiently. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, health center leaders, external partners, and government agencies. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 or more years of experience in grants administration, with a focus on public health, community health, or federally funded programs. Demonstrated experience working with the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) Health Center Program and an understanding of its policies, funding mechanisms, and performance expectations. Must be a US citizen Ability to pass a employment background check. Preferred Qualifications: A Master’s degree is preferred. Experience with program management or financial oversight in health center programs. Familiarity with HRSA and BPHC reporting systems, as well as health center funding guidelines and regulations. Certification in grants management or public health program evaluation (e.g., CGMS, PMP, etc.) is a plus. The salary range for this position is $85,000.00-100,000.00 annually.
