360 Live Media is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team for a temporary assignment this Summer in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with multi-disciplinary design proficiency, and expertise in current design software.  360 Live Media is a strategy, marketing, public relations and design agency that helps organizations maximize their impact and advance their mission. Smithbucklin was founded in 1949, and is 100 percent employee-owned.What You Will Do:Create graphic assets for assigned clients, including, but not limited to, advertisements, animations, brochures, social media graphics, videos, and website elementsDevelop, design, and/or edit presentations in PowerPoint using company or client brand guidelinesCollaborate with multiple teams across the company to transform ideas into designs that resonate with the target audienceObtain input from project leads to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and client expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the client or company appropriatelyComplete assigned design projects on time and to the proper specificationsBring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to designs Basic QualificationsCompleted at least 60 credit hours of college level coursework towards a degree in design or related fieldAbility to work an average of 40 hours per week throughout June and July 2024Portfolio of high-quality academic or professional work and project samples Understanding of foundational design concepts and visual principlesProficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and willing to learn new technologies and design software as applicableAbility to think critically, work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and produce work within deadlinesPassion to thrive in a fast-paced environment and produce award-winning work for clients Selected candidate will be required to work from our DC office location on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for this position.
