Our client is searching for a Junior Graphic Designer to be based at their offices in Johannesburg
Requirements
Grade 12
Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator
Technical knowledge of how webbased technologies apply to web design such as HTML Flash
The ability to create and edit web graphics along with skills in HTML CSS Flash Dreamweaver and Web design are highly desirable
HTML5 experience is a plus
Key Performance Areas
Deliver a range of print and digital based creative projects from Corporate Identity Press Advertising Direct Mail Digital Marketing Packaging Exhibition Graphics Brochures and Literature
Use computer software to generate new images
Mark up paste and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer
Draw and print charts graphs illustrations and other artwork using computer
Confer with clients to discuss and determine layout design
Updating of web graphics
Design studio concepts for customers
Assist with the design of marketing material required business cards/ light boxes/ adverts
Assisting with the editing of images colour correcting/ masking / deepedging
Upload of all web images
Assist with the checking of all web images/ text/ Colourways
Other Requirements
Ability to effective manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities
