True Manufacturing is seeking a Junior Generalist that supports the Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, and Training Teams.  This candidate will run reports, assist with large HR projects, manage multiple other projects solely, and be a liaison between the factory and HR Department. This individual is required to travel to other facilities when needed and have a flexible schedule to help support off shifts. The ideal candidate would be personable, professional, and have excellent communication skills. The hours for this role are 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Respond to employee inquiries about basic policy and procedure or refer to a specific team or individual as appropriate.Assist Employee Relations Team with anniversary and new hire onboarding surveys as needed.Suggest ideas and create content for company social media page.Coordinate with local high schools for established or new apprenticeship programs.Coordinate team building fund and sports teams programs.Aid in the documentation of processes within the HR Department.Conduct new hire orientation for factory and office team members.Conduct safety trainings for factory team members.Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.Handle all coordination between factory leadership and BCI’s Skills Center for potential candidates to come to True.Work with factory and BCI leadership to resolve all BCI team member concerns and/or issues.Aid in the processing and sending of unemployment documentation.Assist in the usage of the Learning Management System.Run reports for attendance and EAP when requested.Complete administrative duties including: data entry, processing orders, creating documentation, packets, and paperwork, filing, scanning, and completing miscellaneous projects.Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required, as this position will require driving a company vehicle.PHR or SHRM CP preferred.Ability to prioritize and be able to work independently.Strong observation and listening skills.Strong attention to detail.Keep an open mind and have good common sense.Ability to recognize unique and/or problem situations.Ability to display excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers.Demonstrate accuracy and productivity in a changing environment with constant interruptions.Ability to handle challenging situations and respond appropriately.

The hours for this position are 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
