We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Management - Infrastructure, Power & Utilities Team at Marsh. This role will be based in Milan. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Team Infrastructure, Power & Utilities advises companies to manage their risk and create operational and financial stability for their business. Our clients operate in the power production from conventional and renewable plants, in the circular economy, Oil&Gas sector, the construction of plants and infrastructure, as wind and photovoltaic plants, hydrogen production plants, high speed railway, bridges, highway, tunnels, etc. We help them to succeed by reducing the total cost of risk, managing volatility and providing advice and solutions that enable them to invest confidently for the future.
We will count on you to:
Support in building and maintaining relationships with clients and serving as point of contact for day-to-day service needs;
Support in building a deep understanding of clients’ needs and priorities, of risk and industry strategies and solutions to develop and provide placement solutions that meet client needs at the best;
Supporting and managing a portfolio of clients, including some large, complex and/or multinational clients specialised in Construction and Power&Energy industries; preparing benchmarking studies and creating risk maps for internal and external use;
Interface closely with Specialties, Placement, Operations and Insurers to support client retention and new business production;
Support the Placement strategy to achieve growth goals and provide exceptional client service, negotiating with relevant insurance carriers to define the best solutions to meet clients’ needs;
Attend and participate frequently in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company as a thought leader.
What you need to have:
University Degree, preferably in Economics (Management, Finance, Risk Management, etc.), Engineering, Law, , achieved within the last 12 months or close to obtaining and a brilliant academic path;
Fluency in English beyond that in Italian;
Consolidated advanced skills in using the main IT-tools (especially Microsoft Office Package, Excel and Powerpoint);
A strong interest in the area of insurance brokerage and risk management;
A strong interest in the Infrastructure, Power & Utilities sector.
