Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Development and Design:
Assist in developing integration solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot - with guidance from experienced developers. Learn to apply integration patterns, with Apache Camel or Spring Integrations etc.Microservices and Containerization: Gain exposure to microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) through hands-on experience.Integration Frameworks:
Gain understanding and produce API’s using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Intersystems technologies - including Anypoint Studio, Intersystems IDEs, and Mulesoft technology stack.Learn, create and maintain APIs using RAML, OpenAPI, and Swagger for documentation.AWS Cloud Stack:
Explore AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services for purpose of integrating to and from these platforms.Data Transformation:
Understand and practice using DataWeave, JAVA, DSLs or JavaScript for data transformation tasks as appropriate.API Management:
Participate in design of API’s, API management and API governance to ensure optimal security, functionality and performance. Quality Assurance:Write clean and well-documented code while adhering to established best practices.Assist in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability of integration solutions.Collaboration and Communication:
Actively engage in team meetings and development activities, including code reviews.Collaborate with team leads to complete tasks effectively and share updates.Problem Solving:
Approach challenges with a positive, detail-oriented mindset, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt.Continuous Improvement:
Stay curious about industry trends and best practices in integrations and software development.Contribute ideas for improving processes and enhancing team productivity.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, similar study field, or equivalent relevant work experience.Basic understanding of Java/J2EE and Spring Boot concepts is a plus; coursework or personal projects are valuable.Familiarity with integration concepts and technologies like MuleSoft and Intersystems is a plus, but not required.Exposure to microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) through coursework or projects would be a plus.Interest in AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services and API management is encouraged.A foundational understanding of APIs and documentation tools like RAML, OpenAPI, and Swagger is a plus.Basic knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) is a plus.A genuine eagerness to learn Data Weave or DSL or other relevant technologies stack.Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.Good communication skills and a collaborative spirit.Additional Duties:
