Job DescriptionIn a nutshell
Due to the increasing workload following Eurofins growth and sales and production process standardisation activities, we are looking for a Junior IT Business Analyst within a team responsible for an in-house developed application.
The main objective of this position is to follow up on the complete lifecycle of incidents, bug reports and request for changes for the application under your responsibility. This includes detailing user story descriptions and their acceptance criteria for new topics to be implemented, following up on their development, testing and ensuring a proper end-user documentation.
Where will you be based and what business will you support?
You will support our business in Brussels and have a hybrid work arrangement, with 3 days per week of on-site work after the onboarding period of one month. For the onboarding period, it will be a full on-site position, with 5 days per week in the office.
Our office location is: 48 Avenue Herrmann-Debroux B-1160, Brussels.
How can you help us?
As a Junior IT Business Analyst, you will actively interact with Product Owners and other stakeholders to:
Writing of clear and well-structured specifications (user stories) for bugs and new functionalities including their mock-ups and detailed acceptance criteria;Following up user stories of the scrum team you are involved in, including user story priority management, preparing and leading various scrum meetings, assisting developers and QA team members during user story implementation phase;Closely interacting with QA team members during acceptance criteria refinement meetings, test case reviews, sprint demo meetings;Aligning with key stakeholders on design proposals;Assisting Business Analysts in UML modelling and service contract creation and review;Providing assistance to the second line support of the application;Managing bug reports and request for changes;Actively participating and collaborating within the application’s international scrums teams;Assisting with the qualification of releases in close cooperation with the program's release management team and key stakeholders;Managing end user documentation with a high-quality level: online help, release notes, customer forum, release presentations, etc.What can we do for you?
