Junior Maintenance planner
Hiring Bonus : $1,000 after 90 days and $1,000 after 1 year Position Overview The junior maintenance planner supports the maintenance department with planning activities related to the preventive maintenance program, assists with support for the spare part purchasing process, oversees spare part inventory, and operates the CMMS software M pulse for gathering all maintenance activities in the software and preparing all reports associated with the maintenance area. Essential Job Functions ( required duties and responsibilities) To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. + Provides documentation as needed for TPM ( MPS process), using the CMMS software, helps to develop standard operational procedure for maintenance, including data entry into PM software and is responsible for preparing KPI reports in the area. + Organize and oversee all spare parts of inventory + Support the purchasing process for maintenance and spare parts, quoting and managing all the processes, including the PO in the ERP system. + Assists with preparation of preventative maintenance program on an established schedule, including all data and planning needed for this task. + Supports the Maintenance and Production department with proper machine operation, document control, troubleshooting, and change over activities. + Follows all safety and SOP regulations and procedures, including Mustad Performance Systems (MPS) + Assist with monitoring and maintaining sufficient and cost-effective inventories of parts and supplies. + Help to ensure all hazardous materials are properly labeled, stored, and handled, and that all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are maintained and updated as required. + Performs other duties as requested by management. Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements + High school diploma or GED + Training and/or certification in electrical, mechanical or another related field with basic knowledge in PLC and robotics + 0-3+ years of general maintenance experience, including trouble shooting and correcting problems with mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pumps and motors, control circuits and power supply, maybe considered in lieu of formal training + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Technical spare part purchasing experience. + Ability to read, write and comprehend English verbal and written instructions, + Computer and MS Office literate. CMMS software, management of inventories. Desirable Skills/Attributes ( preferred but not required) + Advanced use of Excel and CMMS software. + Advanced skills in inventory management + PLC, robotics, automation. Physical Demands + Prolonged periods of standing and walking + Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, bend, balance, reach above shoulders, crouch, and frequent use of hands to feel, handle, touch, or manipulate. + Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. + Frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 75 pounds. Work Environment + Factory setting with exposure to heat, humidity, dust fumes, gases, toxic/caustic chemicals, airborne particles, and significantly loud noise. + Exposure to moving mechanical parts online, as well as moving equipment throughout the factory + Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which the company provides. + Infrequent exposure to heights Additional Information Essential job functions and education, experience, and skills sections are representative of the minimum levels of education, experience, and skills required to perform the vital duties of this position.
