Our client is looking for a Junior Unified Communications Engineer to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of unified communications systems, including VoIP, video conferencing, and instant messaging solutions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for communication platforms and resolve issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with senior engineers and other IT professionals to plan and implement system upgrades and enhancements. Monitor system performance and health, ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime. Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps. Participate in on-call support rotations and provide after-hours support as needed. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute to the continuous improvement of communication systems. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Basic understanding of unified communications technologies such as VoIP, SIP, video conferencing, and instant messaging. Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Experience with Microsoft Teams, Cisco Unified Communications, or similar platforms is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
