Junior Operations Analyst - Position Description

ICI Services is looking for a motivated individual who wants to provide support to a major Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) at the historic Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.  A hybrid and/or remote schedule may be available with government approval. We are an Employee-Owned Company providing Engineering & Integration, Systems Acquisition, Information Warfare, and In-Service Sustainment to government customers. We need a Junior Operations Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.  

Security Clearance:

Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities:

Assist with prioritizing and responding to emergent data drills. Ensure organizational responses, justifications, etc. meet established requirements. Review Navy and DoD instructions, Congressional Request for Review for Information (RFI), and review of Navy, NAVSEA, or PEO Ships policies. Advise hiring managers on potential hiring strategies, prepare draft hiring packages, i.e. vacancy announcements /flyers, recruit/fill forms for recruitment of vacant positions.

Experience Requirements

1-3 years’ experience is supporting a Navy/DoD program Knowledge of Navy databases and metric analysis. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.

Educational/Certification Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
