About the Role

We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Product Designer to join our growing global Product Design team as a Junior Product Designer. You will work with talented, award-winning designers in Colombia, Poland, the Netherlands, and New York, NY. You'll play a vital role in the design process, working alongside experienced designers, product managers, and engineers to bring innovative SaaS products to life. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from and work with extremely talented Design, Research, Innovation, and Technology professionals.

 

Responsibilities

Assist Designers and Product Managers with user research activities such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing. Help translate user research findings into actionable insights and design solutions. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to the design process. Create low-fidelity wireframes and mockups to visualize design concepts. Develop high-fidelity prototypes for user testing and iterate based on feedback. Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure designs are feasible and meet user needs. Stay up-to-date on design trends and best practices. Contribute to maintaining a consistent design language across all products. Learn and grow your design skills through mentorship and participation in design workshops.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, bootcamp, or certificate in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent experience). 0-2 years of experience in product design or a similar role (a strong portfolio can substitute for experience). Strong understanding of user-centered design principles. Proficiency in Figma. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. A passion for learning and a willingness to take on new challenges.

 

Bonus Points

Experience with user research methodologies (e.g., user interviews, card sorting). Experience with prototyping. Understanding of basic design principles (e.g., typography, color theory, layout). A portfolio showcasing your design work and process.
