Amentum is seeking a **Junior Program Analyst** for our **Washington, D.C.** office supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Research and Development (ORD) Peer Review Program.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Assist the government-client with the in-take, validation, and review of all peer-reviewed merit based proposals
+ Assist the government-client with tasks supporting all pre and post peer-review meeting activities
+ Interface with internal and external peer-review program participants to coordinate overall activities to support government-client goals
+ Provide program management support to scientific portfolio managers in the administrative management and budgetary tracking of the research and development portfolio
+ Upon government-client approval, assist with the dissemination of peer-review funding results to Department of Veterans Affairs research facilities
+ Assist the government-client in ensuring all peer-review meetings are conducted per established requirements
+ Track all peer-review activities using eRA Commons system
+ Coordinate and maintain peer-review program documentation to include reports, correspondence, schedules, technical instructions/procedures or related materials
+ Prepare peer-review program documentation, correspondence and reports
+ Assist the government client with travel planning for non-VA meeting participants
+ Perform assigned tasks under time and location constraints
+ Multitask and prioritize assignments in accordance to program goal
+ Provide excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
+ Interact effectively with senior scientific professionals

**Compensation & Benefits:**
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $56,000 - $60,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.) **Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree, and at least 2 years of program analyst and/or program management support
+ Or an Associates degree, and at least 4 years of overall work experience with at least 2 years of program analyst and/or program management support
+ Or a High school diploma/GED, and at least 10 years of overall work experience with at least 2 years of program analyst and/or program management support
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
+ Proficient in English with strong oral and written language skills
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience supporting audio / video conferencing and vendor contracts
