Junior Program Analyst

Title:

Junior Program Analyst

The F/A-18 Super Hornet is a fourth-generation fighter jet that is a key part of the U.S. Navy's carrier air wing. The Navy plans to continue operating the F/A-18 for decades. This contract provides support of unique nonproduction F/A-18 AF and EA-18G flight test assets to include engineering, instrumentation and maintenance.

Job Description:

Supports the F-18 aircraft sustainment modification program by providing analysis, research, computer application skills, data processing, and documentation (Statement of Work, formal letters) preparation; additionally, participates in meetings and supports specified Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) requirements.

Tracks program/project status and schedules, takes minutes, assist in preparing presentations and reports and tracks program risks and related action items.

Prepares and updates budgetary and aircraft tracking statuses via program established excel spreadsheets.  

Performs all other assigned tasks as required by team leader and government customer. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures used within the business and technical-related fields.

Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment employee works on a team. 

Basic Qualifications:

Education:  

Requires an AAS degree

Required Experience:

At least three to five (3-5) years of experience in a business and/or technical-related position is required. Familiarity with budget management, scheduling, research and analysis and must possess communication skills both verbal and written which are required for this position.

Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance.

Minimal travel is required.

Microsoft office suite experience required.

Must be able to learn, use and understand unique computer applications required by the contract.  

Desired Experience:

BA/BS degree is highly desired.

An active secret level security clearance.

Excellent presentation skills as required by the contract.

Must be able to communicate at all levels of the or skill.
