Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate various functions and support team members to ensure the smooth operation of our program. A typical day involves distributing staff actions, maintaining the project calendar of events, coordinating and setting up meetings, and following up on travel arrangements and related activities. You will also conduct follow-up actions on behalf of the Program Director and perform daily administrative tasks to support program activities. Experience with the Defense Travel System (DTS) is a must for this position. NOTE : Initially, the role will be remote with routine trips to Fort Detrick, transitioning into a hybrid position with several days a week on-site, and eventually developing into a full-time on-site role at Fort Detrick. Position Responsibilities Maintain the team calendar, schedule activities and update the project calendar of events. Distribute staff actions and maintain program records. Coordinate and set up meetings, including preparing agendas and meeting materials. Coordinate and follow up on team travel arrangements. Conduct follow-up actions on behalf of the Program Director to support program objectives. Perform daily administrative tasks to support overall program activities and maintain program records as required. Qualifications 5-yrs of administrative or secretarial experience in a DoD environment. Proficient in the MS Office suite, including MS Teams, with strong skills in calendar management and meeting coordination. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with personnel at all levels of authority inside and outside the organization. Must have reliable transportation and able to work full-time, on-site at Fort Detrick. Experience with the Defense Travel System (DTS).
