The Digital Industries Factory Automation Solutions team of Siemens Ltd. implements complete automation projects in the field of automotive and industrial logistics. We are looking for a junior project engineer for the following tasks.

With our comprehensive offering of powerful industrial software and thoroughly integrated automation technologies, we support manufacturing enterprises with Digital Industries to increase the flexibility and efficiency of their manufacturing processes and reduce the time to market of new products – whether in the automotive industry, automotive first tier supplier, industry logistic, machine construction, or in other industries. You’ll make a difference by:

Creation of customized automation specification of Siemens Factory Automation solutionsTechnical clarification with the customerControl of technical details and requirements (order details clarification)Consideration of standards, guidelines, specifications of the customerCreation of technical specificationsDetermination of purchased parts and obtaining offersModification of cable routing plans, terminal plans, switch cabinet drawings, circuit diagrams, wiring plans, cabling plans, parts lists, etc. on the basis of customer libraries / engineering templatesBasic design: Technical conception in case of unspecified customer requirementsProposal of technical solutions based on on-site surveysTechnical support for the PM and SM working in the project

Your defining qualities:

Technical education (university, technical college or equivalent professional experience)Basic knowledge of automation solutionsBasic knowledge of Siemens productsOpenness to flexible workingCommunication ability in English or German Initiative, learning ability, result-oriented and quality-drivenCommunication skills and ability to work in a team
