Leidos is seeking a project manager to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DOD. This individual will work in a team environment to ensure mission needs are met and ensure functionality of capabilities of customers. Leidos is building a new team to transform our customer spaces. We are looking for a collaborative and forward leaning individual who wants to tackle challenges and be a part of creating innovative solutions. This position will be approximately 40% project management and 60% material management.

Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the projectResolve any problems or discrepancies that may arise with ordersRun periodic spot check reports against material inventoryCollect packing slips and other relevant documentation for delivered equipmentComplete Verification of Material Acceptance forms for each deliveryAssist in the tracking of End-of-Life and End-of-Support for legacy and new equipmentObtain accounts and training on Enterprise Data Warehouse inventory systemAssist with Technology Modernization projectsTeam up with customer site logistic teams to collect delivered materials and provide required documentation to allow vendor payment Facilitate status review meetings among project team members and clientsCoordinate with other contractors and system owners as neededCoordinate with multiple technical and operational teams to achieve the necessary program, project or activity plans, and schedulesFollow industry recognized best practices for program management, change management, and configuration control processes to ensure highest quality deliverables and Infrastructure performanceServe as an advisor on and ensure change documentation is completed on automationLead to operational efficienciesExamine customer problems, develop and present solutions, and then implements appropriate corrective action to initiate a changeEnsure that baseline integrity management can be established within the enterpriseSupport the development and adherence to procedures and policiesRun reports from asset inventory system for the purpose of tracking equipmentCoordinate movement of excess assets for disposalWork independently.
Successful candidates must possess the following skills:
Education
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, Masters degree with 0 years, Associate's with 4 years, or High School Diploma with 6 years.Clearance
Due to the nature of the government contracts we support, US Citizenship is required.TS/SCI with Poly required for Position or TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a specific polygraphPreferred Qualifications

Pay Range:Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
