The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems. Key responsibilities include: * Developing and maintaining ETL pipelines and architecture * Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to identify and prioritize project requirements * Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance * Optimizing data systems for performance and scalability * Staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering **Required technical and professional expertise** Required Professional and Technical Expertise: * Proficiency in Python and SQL / NoSQL * Experience with data engineering concepts, including ETL data pipelines and architecture * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment **Preferred technical and professional experience** Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git)
