Job Summary
The Junior Recruiter will support the development and implementation of company-wide University recruitment strategies that drive the overall effectiveness of GAF's talent acquisition efforts. You will coordinate all recruitment activities, for 100+ intern, co-op, and rotation program hires, and implement an innovative campus recruiting strategy to engage and foster the next generation of GAF employees and future leaders. In this role, you will also help to organize and schedule the I&D efforts related to recruitment across GAF. In this newly created role, you will support the University Relations Manager to enhance GAF's commitment to excellent candidate care. You will support all staffing coordination needs including scheduling, assessments, offer letters, and pre-employment screening.
Essential Duties
Responsible for the full cycle recruitment of Interns, Co-Ops, and Rotational Program participants
Partnering with hiring managers on recruitment strategies
Sourcing and analyzing market data for the development of new recruitment approaches utilizing Yello, NACE and other recruiting tools
Project management of our marketing assets for student programs including banners, marketing collateral, swag, and website content
Supporting all student programs assisting with the curation of curriculum development, events, and presentations
Ensure all candidates have a world-class interview experience from start to finish
Work with recruiters, Plant HR, hiring teams, and candidates to schedule/reschedule video, phone, and onsite interviews at a high volume
Manage the coordination of 100+ requisitions throughout the year
Coordinate and communicate with candidates for travel purposes, as needed
Organize, track and follow up on all candidate activities such as signing offer letters, scheduling and completing drug screen, submitting background checks
Timely registration for all campus events & coordination of event collateral (swag, banners, tablecloths, etc…)
Real time updates and data management of candidate, campus, and open house trackers
Weekly reporting during campus recruitment season
Ability to travel as needed, approximately 40%
Perform the duties of a junior recruiter to support all recruitment efforts related to intern and coop recruitment
Partner in the analysis of career fairs and other events data to assess ROI for future participation
Qualifications Required
BA or BS Undergrad Degree Required
2+ years experience with Google Suite
1+ year(s) experience in HR or Talent Acquisition
Ability to travel 40%
Qualifications Preferred
1+ year experience working with an ATS, Workday a plus
1+ years experience working in supporting campus recruitment
1+ year(s) of candidate screening experience
Exceptional customer/client management skills with the desire to meet the needs of each client
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills including, prioritization, time management, and follow-up
Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
Thrive in high volume, high energy, exciting environment
Ability to prioritize tasks and assignments to ensure focus on critical projects
Excellent organizational ability and advanced follow-up skills to keep track of candidate tasks from start to finish
