Exciting Pre-Doctoral Research Fellowship at the NYU Stern Management and Organizations Department!
The Pre-doctoral Research Fellow (Junior Research Scientist) will assist faculty in the Management & Organizations department at NYU Stern on a variety of research activities, such as data analysis, data collection and aggregation, literature reviews, managing experiments, qualitative coding, and survey design. For example, some topics our faculty focus on include: corporate social responsibility, demographics and inequality, entrepreneurship, interpersonal relationships, technology and innovation, the future of work, and more. The position is full-time, with benefits, and includes opportunities to join the department’s Behavior Lab, seminar talks, lab meetings, and other activities of the department. The appointment is for 1 year, subject to renewal based on mutual agreement and availability of funding.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $50,440 – $60,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
Candidates should have experience with research in any social science field, including economics, marketing, organizational behavior, psychology, and/or sociology. Candidates should also have experience using: Qualtrics survey software; statistics programs such as R, Stata, or Python; and/or other research tools. This position is an especially good fit for someone planning to enter a PhD program in management / organizational behavior/ strategy in the future. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or be on track to graduate with a bachelor's degree by August 2025.
