Evitado is developing the first plug-and-play collision avoidance system for aircraft ground movements, bringing autonomous solutions traditionally found in the automotive industry into new, exciting use cases. Job Overview:

Evitado Technologies is seeking an experienced Linux software developer with a strong background in shipping stable deployed applications to constrained environments, with a focus on robotics. In this role, you will enable Evitado's core technology by providing a robust vehicle core software platform that can reliably deploy, run, and monitor the end-to-end software stack for off-road robots. 

What you'll do:

Work as part of the Robotics/Platform team to help create a feature-complete, performant, and reliable end-to-end robotic vehicle applicationCreate on- and off-vehicle software components for the robot vehicleImprove build system, deployment, health monitoring, and process orchestration for the robot applicationBuild Developer Experience workflows to accelerate development and testingImprove performance characteristics of existing software componentsParticipate in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality deliverablesDefine configurations for the Linux host system on which the software application runsInterface with Robotics, Computer Vision, and Embedded engineers to bring these systems together through consistent interfaces

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related fieldExperience writing and shipping professional software4+ years for Senior7+ years for StaffProficient working on, deploying to, and configuring headless Linux systemsProficient in Python, and C++ with CMakeExperience with ROS / ROS 2Previous experience in at least one of the following:Containerized deployment with DockerHiL / SiL testing & testing automationFleet management of headless Linux systemsKnowledge of software development tools, such as JIRA and GitAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Salary range of $75,000 - $120,000 depending on experience
