This SharePoint Administrator role is to administer and maintain the SharePoint Enterprise Environment to support Donaldson’s usage by all global employees.  The role will support the technical side of any future migrations to the next version(s) and work with senior members of the team and the Business Analysts and Developers to execute these migrations. This role will take direction from more senior members of the team to support the business organization.

Role Responsibilities:

Administration, maintenance, and monitoring of all environments

Document and follow company procedures and standards, and leading practices including environment and application configuration, architecture, support, taxonomies, and naming standards.

Analyze and resolve issues related to application, windows server, SQL, and related technologies.

Strong task management, customer contact, and task prioritization skills are required

Requires knowledge & experience in SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019, or previous versions

Performs routine duties and relies on team for tasks that need guided judgment, to implement various business systems and technologies to meet company’s strategic objectives.

Solves a range of straightforward to medium complexity problems; analyzes possible solutions using standard practices.

Limited outside of working hours meetings to collaborate with the global team and support the business.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related IT field or 1 year of relevant work experience in supporting IT applications

Must be U.S. persons (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee) as this position requires use of information which is subject to export controls.

Preferred Qualifications:

Some familiarity of Server Technologies like Event Viewer, Performance Monitor, Logs, PowerShell, IIS, Active Directory/Entra ID, DNS, SMTP, Microsoft SQL, Azure, and Office 36

Ability to work with team to architect sites, search, and other functionality in SharePoint Online that meet business requirements.

Self-learner; Likes to keep ahead of things and being pro-active.

Team player; Likes working in an international team; Good communication skills

Prior use or familiarity of SharePoint

Awareness to familiarity of Yammer, Teams, Planner, Power BI, Sway, One Drive, Staff Hub, Forms, Stream, Delve, To-Do & other Microsoft cloud technologies.
