What you`ll do


Summary:
We are looking for an ABAP/SAPUI5 developer that joins us in developing the next generation of SAP Master Data Governance.

 

The Role:
Our SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) development unit is a strategic development entity within SAP. Located in Walldorf and building on strong teams, we implement state-of-the-art master data solutions in close collaboration with customers & partners in the industry as well as with other SAP units. MDG delivers domain-specific, out-of-the-box applications as well as a framework for custom-defined master data. SAP Master Data Governance is the market leading enterprise MDM solution.

 

As an ABAP developer in our team you will be using state-of-the-art programming models (RAP & Fiori) to develop and maintain our product. You will
• Become part of a highly motivated, creative team that enjoys developing and new technologies
• Be innovative and creative in terms of new functionality and software quality
• Work closely with our customers and partners
•  Play a key role in the design and implementation of new functional components using the latest tools and frameworks
• Ensure high-quality standards through continuous automated and manual testing.
• Explore and implement prototypes involving cutting-edge technologies.
 
What you bring


Are you ready to be a vital contributor to the cutting-edge Master Data Management development unit? We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Software Developer with strong analytical skills. Initial experience with master data would be desirable.

•    Academic degree in computer science, business informatics, or a connected field of study
•    Development experience in at least one object-oriented programming language, experience in ABAP, RAP, and SAPUI5 is a plus
•    Previous exposure to agile methodologies, particularly within a scrum team
•    High commitment to quality, reliability, and efficiency
•    Team player and the ability to exchange ideas in a collaborative environment.
•    Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, consistently contributing to a culture of innovation
•    Fluent German language skills are mandatory
