This position is looking for a junior software engineer who is able to work onsite in Manassas, VA with 0-5 years of experience. This position requires US citizenship and a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. This is a 6-month contract to hire position that is looking to pay between $35-$45/hr. This position also requires candidates to be vaccinated for COVID and is looking to hire ASAP.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Build and maintain user interfaces and data visualizations based on designs from our UX teamKnowledge of and experience using LinuxKnowledge of and experience writing shell scriptsKnowledge of and experience using JavaKnowledge of an experience developing web-based applicationsConduct code reviews.Understand, refine, break down, and estimate backlog items.
