Junior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

Proactively identify and resolve challenging issues in a variety of software applicationsAssist with system configuration, deployments, and control processesInteract with other software developers and teams across a multidisciplinary set of software development effortsDevelop software for both front end and back end systemsBuild reusable components and software library to share code amongst various projects

Qualifications

Required:

Willingness to quickly pick up new technologies  Strong oral and written communication skillsExperience with Java or JavaScriptBachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other software development-related degreeAbility to obtain Secret and/or TS/SCI clearance

Preferred:

Familiarity with CI/CD tools and modern build technologiesExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with RESTful APIs

Work Environment:

Location: Hybrid, local to Dayton, OH areaTravel Requirements: minimal, up to 15%Working Hours: Standard 40 hours per week.
