About the role: As a Junior Software Engineer on the Bank API project at Kyriba, you will be part of a dynamic team working on cutting-edge financial technology solutions. You'll contribute to the development and maintenance of Kyriba's connectivity network, which integrates banks, ERPs, and other financial systems to enable real-time treasury management and payments. Your main responsibility will be to implement Bank API connectivity.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Develop and maintain API integrations with banking partners and internal systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing functionality
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following Kyriba's development standards
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's continuous improvement efforts
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Bank API connectivity
Support the testing and deployment of new features and updates
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in fintech and API development
Education, Experience & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python).
Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation
Basic understanding of database technologies and SQL.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Understanding of software development lifecycles
Basic knowledge of unit testing concepts
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
