The Four Seasons Private Residences Los Angeles is a 12-story tower comprising 59 custom for-sale homes with outstanding views of the surrounding Beverly Hills neighborhood and Hollywood Hills. Operated by Four Seasons, our homeowners experience best in class amenities, including a courtyard pool and private cabanas, IMAX Theatre and Lounge, a fully equipped fitness center with climate-controlled studio, and a Resident’s Lounge offering a Food and Beverage program throughout the day. Our team will provide thoughtful, intuitive, and dedicated service to our homeowners, who will either live full time in the building, or from time to time as their travels bring them to LA. As part of the residence team in a Four Seasons standalone residential property, you will have a unique opportunity to define and establish the operating model for stand-alone Four Seasons Private Residences. It is anticipated that we will be able to create unique opportunities to deliver service excellence, but this will require agility and flexibility in our roles in the service of our homeowners.About Four Seasons

About the role
Four Seasons Private Residences Los Angeles is a standalone condominium building, managed by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. The private residence offers our 59 resident-families with a full-service private restaurant, available exclusively to residents and their guests. The restaurant is open five days per week, serving a variety of organically sourced, elegantly plated cuisines. Menus are frequently crafted to reflect resident’s special requests, and dietary needs. Seasonal menus, fresh ingredients, flawlessly executed service, in an elevated lounge environment are the hallmarks of this program. The Jr. Sous Chef will partner with the Chef de Cuisine in leading a small culinary team, and front of house operation of full time staff, ensuring that every resident and guest is recognized with personal connections. The Jr. Sous Chef will assist with menu planning, staff development, and managing a kitchen. This is fantastic opportunity to work in an environment full of creativity, and growth opportunities. As a Four Seasons employee, the Jr. Sous Chef will join a worldwide team of 15,000+ F&B colleagues, and participate in, and contribute to the vision for standalone Food and Beverage operations in Four Seasons.
What you will do
Run the day-to-day operation of the station in the kitchen.
Assist in creating and preparing menus items and specials.
Check and complete mise en place and pars and set-up the station.
Complete requisitions, obtain proper signatures and submit to the Purchasing department.
Communicate with the F&B management regarding menu items, problem situations or shortages.
Utilize the computer system in retrieving orders.
Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
Maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed.
Store items properly at the end of the shift.
Ensure a clean, neat, and organized work area.
Handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.
Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels and encourage staff to do the same.
Respond properly in any building emergency or safety situation.
Respond appropriately to resident requests with respect to special meal preparation or substitutions.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by department leadership, management, and staff.
What you bring
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. Spanish language proficiency helpful but not necessary
High school graduate and an apprenticeship, cooking school or culinary institute education.
Highly developed sense of taste and comprehensive sauce preparation skills.

Salary Range: $70,000.00-$72,800.00
