Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join our dedicated and dynamic team. We are looking for a highly efficient individual with strong time management skills and exceptional attention to detail. This position will assist the Credit Manager in maintaining proper credit procedures throughout the hotel, ensuring compliance with both local regulations and Four Seasons Hotels Limited policies and procedures.
What you will do
Ensure all local and corporate policies, rules, internal controls and procedures and safeguards are in place, as they relates to Credit and Accounts Receivable.
Answer guest and credit card inquiries concerning accounts including the documentation and preparation of adjustments if necessary, on a timely basis.
Prepare and maintain complete, accurate and organized records for all outstanding accounts as directed by the Credit Manager.
Review group and catering contracts, establish understanding of billing arrangements and follow up on deposits and prepayments.
Assist the Income Auditor, if necessary, in reconciling the City Ledger totals.
Assist the Credit Manager in the performance of his/her other duties as requested.
What you bring
Solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams
Working technical knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and all corporate policies and procedures
Strategic, analytical and have solid business acumen.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Word and Excel
Strong interpersonal and team player skills
Highest level of integrity and work ethic
Strong problem solving and time management skills
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
