Description We are hiring a Junior Staff Accountant to join a growing team in Valley Center. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for individuals with a foundation in accounting who are eager to develop their skills and grow in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: + Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and data entry. + Support month-end close processes by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts. + Help monitor general ledger activities to ensure financial data accuracy and compliance. + Reconcile bank and credit card statements and assist with variance analysis. + Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and other accounting projects as assigned. + Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and streamline accounting processes. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing degree with relevant experience). + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.). + Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks is a plus. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. + Eager to learn and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
