Join Our Team: Junior Storeman

We’re seeking an experienced Junior Storeman to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of equipment to our customers.

 

Responsibilities:

Receive Materials: Follow the established receiving procedure and SAP processes for all incoming materials. Quality Checks: Conduct basic quality assessments on selected materials to ensure they meet standards. Binning: Place materials in designated bins according to SAP specifications. Material Counts: Perform daily counts as requested by the MRP Controller while issuing and binning materials. Safe Handling: Transport materials carefully to prevent damage and ensure safety. Issuing Materials: Issue materials following proper procedures and deliver them to the plant. Relocation: Move materials to new storage bins as needed. Store Security: Maintain security by controlling access to the storage area at all times. Housekeeping: Work with the team to uphold cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with 5S principles. Stock Verification: Confirm that physical stock matches SAP records. Shift Work: Be prepared to work shifts as required. Licensing: Obtain necessary licenses to operate vehicles within the stores, including overhead cranes. Maintenance Activities: Complete scheduled maintenance tasks for materials. Additional Tasks: Perform any relevant tasks assigned by the Stores Supervisor or Materials Manager.
