We are looking for an Quality Assurance person focused on test automation, contract testing who can help us on our journey. Circle K mission is simple: we want to make journeys easy and more enjoyable for our customers. Since our portfolio of services is growing we need someone who will help us: 

Plan and execute integration, contract testing 

Work with the developers to understand the critical paths and ensure product stability 

Build better cooperation with other Dev Teams 

Below you will find more details on competences we are looking for: 

Design and write automated test, requiring a strong foundation in coding and system architecture, ensuring that automation is align with the broader objectives.

Run automated tests when needed (on demand and in circle phases).

Collaboration with the Manual Tester/Test Analyst and Product Owner to determine the range of features that require automation, acknowledging that not every aspect is suitable for automation and participating in decision of defining when and if automated tests should start.

Collaborate with the team to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Collaboration with the Manual Tester if its necessary from team perspective (e.g. to unload picks). The automation tester is helping/doing manual tests along with the rest of the team.

Suggest improvements (Continuous Improvement) and optimizations in automated testing processes and tools - not only in team internally but also in COP QA.

Agreeing and searching with the team on the best approach for integration testing and environment preparation - e.g. where to use mocks to ensure that testing env. will be useful for automation.

Analyze of test outcomes, test report creation and sharing it with team and stakeholders (in a understandable from) - using organizational templates.

Share and communicate to stakeholders on the approach for automated testing, ensuring a shared understanding and alignment with project goals, fostering transparency.

Communicate identified project & product risks for consultation with the team.

Test data preparation for your own purposes and informing about that data with other team members internally - to avoid problems with corrupted data in use.

Take a part in SDLC as a dev (scrum) team member - which contains active participation on all scrum team events. En-specially during Refinements to ensure that all possible scenarios are covered, and new functionality/modification is well known and described. "With out knowing how to test it, developers will have problem to understand how to implement it" - tester is obligated to ask "4 COPs QA questions" during refinement session with team.

Follow the rules, processes and standards created by COE QA (CK Test Strategy).

Actively participate in COP QA.
