What do you contribute?

As part of our DAkkS-accredited test center according to EN17025, you will perform various inspections and type tests on our Locomotives & Passenger Coaches (functional, metrological, electrical) on your own initiative. You develop own test procedures based on TSI, international standards and customer requirements. In your role as Vehicle Validator, you work directly with the product and, in coordination with our specialized departments, project managers and homologation team, help to ensure that our rail vehicles comply with the high Siemens quality standards and can enter service on time. In addition to our main test centers in Munich, Wegberg-Wildenrath and Velim (CZ), you will be working worldwide as part of vehicle testing, e.g. in India (travel activity approx. 25%).  

What do you bring along?

You have completed a technical degree or technical professional education with several years of experience. You have experience in the field of vehicle validation (ideally rail vehicles). Good knowledge of measurement and control technology, knowledge of bus systems and good IT skills characterize you. You are familiar with international and national standards, laws and regulations. You are willing to work abroad. You are fluent in German and English in everyday business.
