If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice.** **Kansas City Logistics Supply Chain Management Co-Op** **YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** The primary responsibilities of this role are to: + Serves as a contributor to cross-functional teams for problem solving issues within the supply chain operations; + Reviews multiple data inputs and understands clear leversto pull to improve processes; + Supports the development of a deeper understanding behind the complexity of processes and systems; + Facilitate the resolution of problems during the development process to meet operational targets & customer needs; + Supports deployment of digital tools in order to digitize logistic operations & data; + Effectively extracts and analyzes key data sets in order to extract insight for end-to-end supply chain optimization; + Partners with internal and external stakeholders to efficiently deliver against project objectives. **WHO YOU ARE** Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications: + Full-time student currently enrolled at an accredited four-year university majoring in an appropriate Supply Chain Management, Logistic or Data Science or other closely related field OR pursuing a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistic or Data Science or closely related discipline; + Successfully completed at least sophomore year or higher with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 prior to start date; + Ability to work accurately and efficiently on multiple projects under tight timelines; + Interest in SCM systems and processes such as inventory management, warehousing, transportation and procurement; + Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office / Excel Pivot Tables Good communication skills due to the cross–functional collaboration required with several stakeholders.
