THE HUALALAI CLUB BARTENDER 

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Bartender who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Bartender’s have the opportunity to shape our members and guests experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Our Bartenders are a pillar of our team, assisting in all Club outlets when required, including the pool deck.  

Greet and recognize members and guests with name usage in a professional manner  

Assist with Club Banquet event set up and break downs  

Prepare and serve a selection of beverages from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.  

Confirm members and guest orders including any special needs or requests from the server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the member and guest’s original order. 

Service and take orders from members and guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, etc. 

Anticipate member and guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to member and guest concerns and requests. 

Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.

WHAT TO BRING 

Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage 

Two to Five years of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is required. 

Current Hawaii Liquor Control Blue Card Holder  

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States 

Ability to accurately read food tickets and communicate orders with the kitchen and servers.     

Weekend & Holiday availability required.
