Lafayette Veterinary Care Center is a 24/7 veterinary hospital, along with boarding, grooming, and doggie daycare services. Our Pet Care Specialist role focuses on the patient experience at our boarding facility. **** This is a full-time position. Hours range from 5:30a-12:30p, 8a-4p, 12p-7p
Pay ranges from 10 on weekdays to 12 on weekends.

What you bring to the table:
General care for boarded patients including monitoring, feeding, watering, medicating, exercising, and cleaning up after patients (inside and out), cleaning suites, runs, and feline condos.
Bringing animals to and from the kenneling areas during check-in and check-out times preparing these facility areas for the arrival and departure of patients.
Client education
Maintain a professional demeanor and use of medical terminology
Desire to learn and an ability to adapt to changing situations

Standing, sitting, crouching, walking multiple times per day for care of pets
Routinely check safety and security of patient areas.
