Key Account Manager, Concrete Admixtures

MAPEI is hiring for a Key Account Manager, our KAM is responsible to identify and contact National/Key concrete suppliers and construction companies and initiate a corporate strategy for growth and partnership. You will continually promote MAPEI Admixtures as a national admixture supplier and worldwide leader in concrete technology and actively support the national sales team to initiate growth of the market share of concrete admixtures. 

Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis & Strategy: Analyze market potential for national concrete producers. Prepare and implement budgets and strategies for commercial and technical actions, including NDAs, contracts, credit evaluations, and project specifications. Relationship Development: Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key accounts and influencers. Develop solutions and partnerships with project stakeholders, from design through tender and award phases. Sales & Product Positioning: Periodically review and share sales results with the Regional Business Director and local teams. Support teams in product selection, positioning, and pricing strategies. Provide necessary marketing input to guide promotional and communication plans. Support efforts to include MAPEI products in project specifications Technical Support & Training: Coordinate and conduct technical trainings, presentations, and customer visits. Represent MAPEI, promoting corporate vision and values. Customer Support: Address customer complaints and warranty issues, ensuring corrective actions and resolutions align with ISO procedures. Assist with major claims and negotiate settlements when necessary. Forecasting & Reporting: Forecast product demand and volume monthly. Report gaps in sales, customer service, or delivery processes to ensure continuous improvement. Collaboration: Work with Corporate Functions, including R&D, HR, Marketing, and Quality Assurance, to align on product development, technical materials, and internal processes. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum five years’ experience in sales of commercial products, with a proven sales record. Bachelor’s (B.A.) degree from a four year College or University, strongly preferred.  High School Diploma or GED, required. Strong knowledge of the assigned market,/industry and a proven sales record. Valid state driver’s license. Ability to work independently and to travel throughout the assigned territory Demonstrate proficient oral and written communication skills. You must be able to stand for extended periods of time. The position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment.  Use Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as using the Internet.
