Your Opportunity as Key Account Manager, Frozen Handhelds, Spreads, & Coffee Sales Team (Wegmans, Price Chopper, & Tops)
You will manage Smucker’s Frozen Handheld, Spreads, & Coffee portfolio at Tops, Price Chopper, and Wegmans. This role is responsible for delivering sales, trade spending, and profit targets for assigned categories and customers while working closely with internal Smucker cross-functional partners.
Location: Work remotely with 200 miles of one of the accounts listed above. (Albany, NY; Buffalo, NY; Rochester, NY)
In this role you will:
Lead, develop, and coordinate business strategy for your customersAchieve annual targets for sales volume, net sales / profit, and market share within trade budgetManage trade planning process to ensure accurate spending & timely reconciliationMonitor and adjust to competitive, industry, and customer environmentDevelop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with key customers & internal Smucker cross-functional groupsDevelop and lead Joint Business Planning process with internal Customer Category Business team and key retail customersAnalyze sales results, promotional events, and assortment gaps to develop plans to drive growthMaintain monthly volume forecast with Customer FinanceSupport company climate and culture initiativesThe Right Place for You

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree3-5 years of Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) experienceExperience with sales forecasting/analysis/data base management/financial & budget managementSelf-motivated and has ability to manage and prioritize multiple/diverse prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent oral & written communication skills (negotiation, selling, presentations, etc)Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
Experience in CPG customer facing/sales rolesGrocery Channel experienceCross functional experience in category management, trade marketing, sales analysisAbility to manage extended work scheduled as needed (approx. 25% travel for market visits) and adhere to company policies & proceduresLearn more about working at Smucker:
