The Key Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of the daily sales function relative to specific chains, accounts or customers and may be responsible for directing support staff where required. 

 

The role is responsible for key relationships and strategic accounts within the assigned market area.  The position is also responsible for communicating and working with sales staff and for driving key initiatives, goals, and expectations of the sales management team.

Qualifications BS/BA degree required8 -10 + years of sales experience in the consumer products industryPrevious Sales Experience in the Dairy Category preferredExperience in fresh fluid milk sales a plusExperience in DSD a plusStrong customer/channel understandingMust have a proven track record of success growing sales and developing new customersNegotiation skills, conflict resolution, and the ability to influenceCustomer planning and management tools and processesThe ability to work cross-functionallyProficient in Microsoft Office
