Key Account Manager, Johnson Matthey, Inc., Wayne, PA:
Acts as a key Sales contact within the defined customer scope for a global account that is critical for Clean Air’s future success. Responsible for prototype management, managing price updates with the customer, aftermarket/service parts management, and coordinating PGM (Platinum Group Metals) system related activities (e.g. PGM recons, price changes); liaising with the customer and internally, where necessary. Report to the Global Key Account Director or Senior Key Account Manager and support the execution of the agreed strategy for their own defined customer scope (pursuing opportunities, building OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) relationships, facilitating internal discussions across functions, supporting the NPI (New Product Introduction) process). Lead Sales efforts for data generation necessary to submit quotations (cost model, cost analysis, manufacturing feasibility assessment, risk review, etc.).
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business (any) or Engineering (any) plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or related role.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of commercial experience within automotive market.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Create and execute financial analysis using Excel;Interpreting financial data such as sales, units, return on sales (ROS), Operating Profit and contribution into Microsoft Powerpoint; andGenerate and develop customer quotations and annual budgeting for existing and proposed clients.Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in the following:
CRM (Customer Relationship Management); andNavigating customer supplier portals for order and payment information, customer specific requirements documentation, or requests for quotation.Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time (10% international and 90% domestic) to visit client sites, other JM sites and attend conferences.
