Key Account Manager

Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative for the FR Construction Enterprise Solutions sector at Trimble, Inc. The role involves managing a set of Enterprise accounts to achieve targeted business outcomes and expand our market presence. The Enterprise sales team focuses on construction businesses with turnovers of €100m+ and is responsible for acquiring new customers, as well as cross-selling and increasing the usage of our AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction & Owners) software products among existing customers.


A successful candidate will effectively communicate the comprehensive value of Trimble’s AECO portfolio and coordinate internal and partner resources to achieve customer success and revenue goals. You must be an excellent communicator, well-organized, creative, and capable of negotiating with C-level executives within our customer and prospect base.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets.Execute the go-to-market strategy to meet business objectives.Drive initiatives to expand market share and increase revenue.Maintain strong working knowledge of the construction market.Possess a strong understanding of Trimble’s products and those of its competitors.Provide detailed and accurate reporting metrics, including sales opportunity pipeline, sales forecasts, and Salesforce productivity information.Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity, and provide feedback to the sales leadership team.Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment of marketing programs with overall sales objectives.Manage key customer relationships and close strategic opportunities.Develop account plans and strategies for account acquisition and expansion.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in the roleProven track record in sales.Strong knowledge of the construction and/or AEC industries, especially in the €100m+ market space.Experience in a SaaS company is advantageous.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen effectively, transmit information accurately, and seek feedback actively.Ability to effectively engage with high-level executives both internally and externally.Expertise in selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning, and execution.Strong time management, decision-making, and presentation skills.Ability to prioritize and deliver revenue results in the short term while working on long-term projects.Willingness to travel up to 50%.Fluency in French and advanced proficiency in English.
