Key Account Manager - Agronomy

OBJECTIVE:

As Key Account Manager your role will be to serve a select group of customers across Moran, Weir, Parsons, and Hepler, KS, acting as the primary MFA contact. You will focus on developing the customer relationship and helping the customer grow their business while providing an excellent customer experience. You will also be expected to develop innovative solutions for customers that not only support MFA products and services, but also leads to improving the current offerings. Sales & Service, Customer Intimacy and Business Development will all be key areas in which you work to implement and promote the companys sales goals. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop an intimate understanding of the customer's business and develop strategies of partnering with customers to help grow their business. Engage and maintain relationships with MFA team members that allow for the delivery of value added service in order to postilion MFA as the customer's desired retailer. Develop innovative solutions for customers that not only support MFA products and services, but lead to improving our current offerings. Follow company sales strategy and execution Work with locations to ensure successful and timely delivery of products/ service to customers according to their specifications. Generate sales for the company according to specified targets. Listen to customers to gain an understanding of their needs Identify key influencers and decision-makers within the customer relationship and develop a plan of action to deepen the relationship with those people. Utilize sales technology effectively to track progress, update sales goals and track results. Assist in developing company's marketing strategy and also ensure its execution. Manage complaints and conflicts with customers effectively. Work with fellow employees in the region to meet customer needs and expectations and provide excellent customer service. Demonstrate good relationship building skills Responsible for contributing as a strong team member and working to grow sales within assigned area. Forecast key account metrics.

HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANIDATES WILL BRING:

A degree in agriculture or 2 years of equivalent Sales experience A Class E License (or willingness to obtain)
